This is the third year we've used Rolas (Andy) to clean our palms as well as lacewing and removal. Each time Andy shows up when he says he will with enough manpower to get the job done and cleaned up. Without any hesitation we would, and have, recommend Rolas for your tree work. Yesterday his crew of 6, Andy included, showed up went straight to work like a veteran team. Once the material was gathered the chipper fired up and 4 guys went to town with rakes. You can be confident everything will be done right for a fair price.

They texted to say they would be earlier than the appointment time. I couldn't be there at that time and wanted to move the car before they started grinding the stump. Andy said no big deal, they would take lunch and set up until I got there. Once there, they ground up the stump and got the lawn to the point where I can put in grass and make it seem as the tree wasn't there. Was very friendly, accommodating and checked to make sure I was good with job. Thank you!

We had used a "landscaping service" to trim back about 50 fruit trees. We have no experience at all with them, having just bought the property. Before they got to the next 20 or so we began to have concerns when the guy in charge did not know what kinds of trees we had. Turns out, they likely killed some of our trees. We called Rolas, and Andy and his crew were on top of everything. They knew the types of trees we had and trimmed the remainder of the trees properly; they removed years of dormant leaves and branches and a very tall hedge about 15' long. You can't even tell the hedge had been there. We were very impressed and would highly recommend them.

We recently moved to a house with 14 redwood trees... because we LOVED the trees. After several calls to some pretty awful arborists, I lucked out and found Andres. I had 3 palm trees I wanted to cut down. The trees were pretty big so I was concerned about the price. Andy gave me a quote for the job and it was by far the most reasonable quote out of the 4 quotes I received. He and his team were in and out and left no mess. I highly recommend this company.

This is an overdue review. We'd had two small dead trees in our backyard pull out of the ground and fall on our house a while ago, and had at least another 2 that looked like they were history as well and needed to go. Andy came out and gave us a very reasonable quote for all the work. 2 days later, like 6 guys descended on our place like locusts, except locusts with chainsaws. Within a couple of minutes, the two dead trees were outta there. All in all, we ended up having three trees and this bush I'll call the Death Shrub ( it had these really spiky leaves that would jab us and the dogs) removed, and the crew also pruned back all the trees on the side of our house, so that it no longer looked like some primeval forest there. Very happy with the work, and again, very reasonable price for everything they did.

I was a just little worried during the process of the crew cutting my tree.I thought they will just start cutting and leave my tree shapeless and just chopped from the top, I was worried they will give my tree a bad haircut. I was also worried they might be careless and accidentally drop a heavy tree branch on my roof or just leave a mess. We had several quotes from local and referred companies in our neighborhood. Seems like a daunting task? Well it is! We needed several ficus trees removed cause they were wreaking havoc with our foundation on the side of our house. Met with Roberto and right away I felt such relief. His professional knowledge, compassion, patience and personal attitude made it so easy when we did the walk through. He pointed out what was necessary and not once did I feel any pressure, just a better understanding of our yard, our needs with the overwhelming amount of different trees we have. Not only did we get enormous ficus trees removed, they made sure our neighbors were disturbed as little as possible since it was blanketed over their property as well. Done and done. They were so efficient and professional. I've been using these guys for years. They are professionals all the way. They are very knowledgeable about trees and do a beautiful job on my trees every year. Their prices are fair and reasonable. They bring a full crew and get the job done quickly. They are even careful about birds nests and baby animals, careful to check if any nests are occupied before cutting. These guys are the best! After getting multiple quotes for a palm tree removal, Rolas Affordable Tree Service came in at the lowest price and they were available to come out sooner than anyone else. We just bought a house and there was a huge palm tree planted only a foot or so from the house, risking the roots damaging the foundation and the palm fronds falling on the roof and damaging it, so we decided it best to be removed. They had a team of 5 or so guys and they tore the tree down in under an hour. I couldn't believe how fast it was for a tree that was over 20 feet tall. I was expecting it would be a 3-hour job, but nope! They started at the top, cut all the branches off (without letting any fall on our house), cut the trunk down in pieces, grinded the roots down about 18 inches and hauled away every last little piece of the tree, leaving our yard clean. Andres explained that they specialize in trees, and since they don't do anything else, they're the best in the tree business. Fantastic work!

We are so pleased with the team who came out to remove/trim our trees. In about an hour they trimmed 7 of our king palms which were growing into our roof line, cut down two king palms that were leaning against our house and cut down and ground the stump on a 20ft magnolia tree. They cleaned up after themselves and did not cause any damage to our property. I can't believe how low their bid was compared to others I found on Yelp. They are fully insured and bonded.
